What is the difference between front foils and membrane keyboards?

Front foils and membrane keyboards have the common feature that they permanently protect the sensitive operating surfaces of devices, machines and consoles from dirt, moisture, chemical influences and wear.

But beyond this common feature, membrane keyboards have another function: unlike front foils, they also allow input via buttons and keyboard elements. To do this, the membrane keyboard is embossed according to your requirements.

Typical film thicknesses are 150µm, 175µm and 200µm.
